Dr. Sandeep S. Mann, M.D.

Dr. Sandeep Mann was born and raised in San Jose, CA and grew up loving learning about animals and the natural world which led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Mann subsequently pursued medical training at the American University of the Caribbean which led him to a multicultural learning experience from the island of St. Maarten to the United Kingdom to the USA. Dr. Mann graduated with an M.D. in 2019 and ECFMG certification while completing USMLE Steps 1, 2 CS/CK, and 3 and enrolled in the NRMP and matched at an ACGME-certified Family Medicine residency at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. In 2022, he became board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine in 2022.

During his Family Medicine training, he rotated at the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, CA, and developed a passion for treating substance use disorders, their causes, and consequences for the patients and their families. Dr. Mann pursued further specialization by completing an ACGME-certified Addiction Medicine fellowship at the University of California, Riverside with training at the world-renowned Hazelden Betty Ford Center, one of the globe’s leading alcohol treatment facilities founded by the former First Lady Betty Ford. This is where he came to embody the mission statement of the Center which is: “Harnessing science, compassion, and the wisdom of lived experience, we are a force of healing and hope to individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use and other mental health conditions”.

In 2023, Dr. Mann moved to Stockton to establish “Pacific View Recovery” to serve an underserved community with a large need for addiction treatment services. Dr. Mann treats patients at both St. Joseph’s Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Behavioral Health Center. He is the medical director of Outpatient Services for the Behavioral Health Center. He aims to provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) services to patients dealing with alcohol, fentanyl, benzodiazepines, methamphetamines and other substances with evidence-based medical care utilizing medications such as naltrexone and buprenorphine and their long-acting injectable formulations.
